We grew up growing.
The seed of Hydroponic Research started with the search for the most potent, perfect flower. Ever since, the only way we’ve grown is up.
And while our roots are in cultivation, we’re serious about the science too. Always researching ways to break new ground, never just going with the flow. Like when the industry was all multi-part liquids, we made VEG+BLOOM—the original one-part powder.
Ten years later, we’re still perfecting every particle right here at our SoCal home base, so growers everywhere have the pure, powerful nutrients they need for the ultra-high yields they expect. But the work’s never done. There’s more to grow.
VEG+BLOOM RO/SOFT and VEG+BLOOM TAP HARD
Hydroponic Research was born with the idea that multiple liquid products could be replaced with a one-part powder nutrient. After creating formulations for both soft and hard water, VEG+BLOOM changed the growing game.
2009
VEG+BLOOM DIRTY and +LIFE
We brought the same nutrient power to soil growers by hybridizing linear salts with organics in our DIRTY formula. Then we went after root rot with +LIFE, a plant probiotic that uses good bacteria to increase nutrient availability.
2013
VEG+BLOOM HD and SHINE
The hybridized organics of DIRTY worked so well, we reformulated it for tap/hard water in our award-winning HD formula. That same year, we also developed SHINE to increase plant sap and sugar production.
2014
PUSH
With the roots taken care of, we shifted our focus to the leaves and stems with a foliar spray that introduces powerful silicate acids for added benefits in the flowering phase.
2015
DOS Part A & Part B
Seeing room to improve large-scale grow operations, we introduced a two-part solution that simplifies EC control for fertigation systems.
2016
STAX
Our most recent product—a medium conditioner, cal-mag enhancer—was made to stimulate roots and shoots for grow setups of all sizes. So it’s bigger leaves and fatter stems ahead.
2018
Rebrand
With grow ops all over the world using our products, it was time to refine our image. Simplifying and polishing up the packaging, website, and overall brand, got us ready to kick everything into high gear.
